Color Challenge -- OCL59

What a great weekend . . . Why you may ask?!? Well the answer is SUNSHINE!!!!! Today was a wonderful spring day -- even though it felt an awful lot like fall. This card resembles the weather: spring colors with a fall feeling . . .

I created it for the Color Challenge at Our Craft Lounge. The colors are:  teal, brown, and white. . . So I layered the colored card stock on the white card base. Then using the Big Shot and Nesties I cut the scalloped circle and the smaller white circle. Leaving the Nestie on the small circle I sponged Antique Linen Distress Ink around the edges. On a different piece of white I stamped the Our Craft Lounge image, colored it with Copic markers and cut it out with scissors and an Exact-o knife. The cutting took quite awhile...but I think it was worth it. The image was then glued to the sponged circle, and that was glued down to the brown scalloped circle. To add some dimension that was attached to the card using pop dots. Viola!!!
