Just Be-Cows

This image was stamped with Tuxedo Black on Neenah and colored with Copic Markers. I used a Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up three separate images from the OCL 'E-i E-i Hello' stamp set. The buttons, fiber, cardstock, and DP are all from my scrapbooking stash. This card was perfect for my friend who LOVES cows!!!

Petite Pansies

This card was made using the Stampin' Up Simply Sent 'Petite Pansies' card making kit. It was so easy! What a great first project for beginners (like myself). Nearly all of the necessary items to complete the card are in the kit -- the stamp set, cardstock, ink, ribbon and ideas with step-by-step instructions. In addition to the items in the kit, I used an Aqua Painter to "watercolor" or blend the coloring on the image.

I used Stampin' Up Watercolor Pencils to color the image, which was stamped on watercolor paper in Old Olive ink; then I layered Perfect Plum, Old Olive, and Chocolate Chip card stock; distressed the Perfect Plum cardstock with a distressing tool; and finally I tied and attached the bow ~ Viola!!!!!

Once completed I gave the card to my mother-in-law for her Birthday!!!! Needless to say -- she LOVED it!!!!!

I've not been around lately . . .

Prepare for a rash of updating . . . I will soon be posting all of the cards I've made at OCL classes, cards from Stampin' Up demonstration classes and quite possibly some of my scrapbooking projects and Photography. I also intend to post some wedding photos and mostly catch up with recent events. Once I get some of that out of the way -- I can move on to new projects!!!!

What a great start ....

What a great way to kick-off the week leading up to our wedding....I attended an awesome Copic Coloring Class at Memories of Time hosted by the girls at Our Craft Lounge. But to my surprise....my wonderful friends got together and presented me with a totally awesome cake (that just happened to perfectly match the wedding invites that Tammie E made for us), and a very cool gift...My very own craft tote and table-top caddy! Thank you guys, you rock!  Also a big thanks to Cami from Our Craft Lounge for having the Copic Coloring Class!!!!! It too was very awesome!!!!  I learned a lot...but most of all "Just do it!" I know what I will be doing after the wedding and things slow down!!  ;)
